Talk:Best weapon
From Combat Robot
This is an opinion. "Best" is extremely nebulous. IMHO this article should be deleted.

It forwards to "[Winning percentage by type]" which provides some more objective data. And opinions aren't necessarily cause for deletion... just provide your own, and keep it civil and organized.

Wow, talk about spin. "Best" is not always what wins most. "Best" can also be what makes people stare and their jaws drop, or what lands sponsorships with high-tech companies like Berg, Loctite, Ugo, etc. "Best" really depends on what a person who watches, builds, competes, or hosts events for combat robots likes- not just your personal opinion of what wins the most matches. This is a public repository of information, not your personal dictionary.

Well, please feel free to edit this page so it doesn't forward to "winning percentage" but instead talks about the subjective nature of "best". Just be sure to include a link to the winning percentage page for those who feel that that is how "best" is defined. In other words, don't just complain: do something!

Very well. A subjective entry on a strictly subjective topic - of course, that might depend on who you ask. I'm going to have to second the guy above, in that this article needs deletion. There's really no point to it- people will build what they want to anyways, why tell them?

You left off the link to the winning percentage page that the Admin requested. I put it in. Please don't delete it again.

Not deleted, but this is just as good. Nice job.
