Timing belts
From Combat Robot
Timing belts are toothed rubber belts, sometimes with a core of fiberglass, nylon fibers, or Kevlar, which are used to both improve torque transmission capabilities of belted systems, and ensure that a certain ratio is kept. Two common pitches are XL and MXL. (3 and 5MM HTD are pupular in the "true metric" tooth form) Two common sources are the industrial supply company McMaster-Carr and SDP-SI.
