The actual force that is transfered to the arena surface depends upon the coefficient of friction between the wheel and floor and the bot's weight. If wheel force exceeds the maximum static friction force (calculated by multiplying the coefficient of friction times weight, in a 4WD bot), the wheels will spin and acceleration will not increase with increased force. Thus, there is a limit to acceleration for a given situation.
