From Combat Robot

Western Allied Robotics (WAR) is an active robot combat group sponsoring multiple events each year in the Northwestern US.

WAR's primary arena is modular allowing it to be set up in an 8'x8' configuration for 1lb and 3lb events or a 12'x 12' or 12'x16' for up to 30lb events.

WAR's annual tournaments include Seattle Bot Battles held each Spring and Robothon Robotic Combat held in the Fall. In addition, WAR has held events throughout the year, often in conjunction with local festivals and hobby conventions.

WAR has been holding combat robot events since 2003.
